Pawsitively Saved is a non-profit rescue for dogs
 in Newberg, Oregon

Our goal is to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education, and responsible pet adoptions. We promote animal spay/neutering as just one way to help keep pets out of shelter environments.

We wish to build a community where people value animals and treBeefyat them with respect and kindness.

We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason-

Dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation, dogs given up by owners because of difficult situations, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.

We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives

Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate vet care and treatment. We assist dogs without regard to age or breed including being a resource for last resort "red-listed" dogs.

John is in desperate need of another foster family!  Due to personal reasons his foster mom must find another place for him to stay.   7/3/2021  Update from John's foster mom -    We were at the playground today, lots of noise, splash pad, bikes, balls. John was nervous! more about John
  Samson (Memphis)
Samson is a big goofy boy with a whole bunch of energy!  He has not had formal training, but he has a LOT of motivation whether it is for food/treats, toys, attention, you name it! Memphis is always willing to learn. He would LOVE to hike, run, walk, probably even swim!  He loves kids, but he jumps a lot and is rather more about Samson (Memphis)
Reeses is an old man that needs his second forever home since his mom has medical issues which resulted in him joining us at the rescue.   He's a sweet guy that loves walks and lounging in a comfortable bed.  He also gets along with other dogs and would enjoy a playmate. Please consider giving him a loving home!
Sweet girl Creek loves people and is affectionate without being overly clingy. Smart, food motivated, and eager to please, she's super easy to train - in fact, it took only about 10 minutes to teach her to walk politely on a leash! She knows other basic commands like Sit, Down, and Stay. She is housetrained, non destructive, and very polite more about Creek
